You are a new player, what can you kill that gets you rich? Cows! I suggest you do the Prince Ali quest so you can go through Al Kaharid gates for free, or just get an iron dagger or two from goblins and sell in general store for that 10g. But kill cows (bring tinderbox and axe if you are a really low level to cook beef) and take the cow hides. You can sell around 1K Cow hides for 125k in Al Kaharid, just get enough for 200K.

Now that you have around 200K, stay in Al Kaharid and buy cow hides from noobs for 75-90 each, and resell for 125 each. Do this until you make 600K Gold. You can also keep killing cows which will take longer depending on your level.
=-= 600K and the 50K Steal =-=
Go to world 1, Fally east bank, there will be a lot of miners there selling ores and bars. Buy steel bars for 500-550 ea depending if they are inflated or not (also different times of day means different prices). If you payed 500K for 1k steel bars, then sell for 550K, just add 50k to the price you bought it for and people will buy it, just repeat a few times and you will have your first million!

I wouldn't suggest this for a total NEWBie but works if you know your way around runescape fairly well. I can make an account and once i get off tutorial island i start killing cows for 1k cow hides. I usually end up at level 20 combat and it takes me 2-4 hours depending on how many people are there. Then to merchant to 600k, it takes me 2 hours at the most. From 600k to 1m-1.5M it takes about 2-3 hours or so. It is boring but it does work! |
