Well my friend im gonna sell my ipod touch to wanted me to add the facebook application to the ipod. Well when i went to add it, i bricked the ipod x.x I have tried doing the little button thing until it fixes itself, i have tried restoring it manually with the 1.1.1 firmware (its 1.1.2 right now in bricked form). Its bricked so it says connect it to itunes.

ANyone know how to fix this? Ive searched and searched, but nothings working. +rep to who ever comes up with the solution that works.

1. Turn iPod Touch OFF completely.
2. Plug iPod Touch into PC/MAC while still of.
3. Turn iPod touch on, then IMMEDIATELY do the following steps \/
4. Hold the 'Home button' and 'sleep/wake' button together for atleast 5 seconds.
5. The Apple logo will appear
6. When this happens release the 'sleep/wake' button BUT KEEP HOLD OF 'HOME' BUTTON
7. Your iPod will reboot (Apple logo)
6. iTunes will recognise iPod in 'Recovery mode'
8. You will be able to 'restore' your iPod Touch now.

How to restore an iPod touch:
While connected to the computer hold the home button and lock button.
Ignore the slide to power off.
When you see the Apple logo, RELEASE THE LOCK BUTTON - NOT THE HOME BUTTON, keep holding until the iTunes recognizes it as an Apple restore device.
Get yourself a 1.1.1 update, and hold 'Shift' (if using Windows) while you click on the Restore button in iTunes. A new window should pop up where you locate the update file to restore.

Done that, when i hit the restore button it says it cant find the network shit

Try the bottom one. Remember to hold Shift.

thats what i have been doing. IM trying with a different fireware package, though it just keeps on saying "Waiting for ipod"

EDIT: I guess im gonna have to fully restore it and lose all the fucking jailbreak x.x

EDIT EDIT: OK fuck. I had to restore it back to factory settings. D=
Now its not jailbroken anymore x.x
