Microsoft has released a new search engine called Bing. It seems to be quite impressive (esp. the front page) and i seems to be a very huge improvement from Windows Live. Microsoft seems to have copied a lot from Google and somewhat from Yahoo. It could potentially attract more users than google if Microsoft decides to spend more money and develop it. So... what do you think of this new search engine, and do you think Bing could beat google?

GPoints: 626 Rep Power: 10 | i dont think bing could beat google, googles been around for so long, and ive seen the bing.com commercials and about the search engine overload getting you useless info your not looking for it doesnt happen as often and that commercial portrays it to -_- .. google FTW

bing is on: Bing | I like it especially how you can preview sites before opening them  I dont think they copied google or yahoo at all. This is one of the few cases where Microsoft was innovative lets not ruin it now.

GPoints: 2,373 Rep Power: 2 | I've seen a search site that let you preview sites before opening, so it isn't completely original. But I don't think you can beat Google. I don't think in 10 years I will be saying "Hey, would you mind Bing-ing ____ for me?". Google has become an icon, a representative of the business. Its like Kleenex and Frisbee. | |
