Fucking piercing noise coming form my monitor

So I have this monitor. I don't know who made it, but the insignia is a W with a line under it. And the thing is, whenever i"m somewhere where there's a lot of black (like GG), or blue, my monitor emits this high pitched piercing noise. It hurts my ears. A lot, I'm beginning to fear for my ability to hear. Is it broken, or is there some way I can overcome this?

I haven't heard of this before, I'm googling it now but I can't find anything at the moment.

Maybe it's just broken.

Is it a CRT monitor?

Why do CRT monitors sometimes emit a high-pitched sound while the monitor is on?

Both?

I already need like, 1200 to finish this computer, I really don't wanna spend more on a fucking monitor -.-

EDIT- and no, I don't think it's CRT, nor does that link describe the problem.

o_o I think you should save up for a new monitor, Few.
I need one too. >_> After a few monitor-explosions, it now goes crazy whenever a TV goes on. o_o

But yeah, my advice, get a new monitor.

"Most of the time a monitor will whine because the sealant on the flyback, which is a high voltage transformer, is coming off or apart. The reason you hear it is because of the cycle it's going in. You will have to take it to a shop for them to put sealant on there. DO NOT try to do this yourself due to an extremely high voltage shock hazard, even when unplugged. It doesn't hurt the monitor to run this way, but it sure does get annoying!

***Worker adds: there's also a slim possibility that you're exceeding the specifications of the monitor (resolution or refresh rate), in which case it might also cause the same problem (whining). Obvious solution to that is to not use that mode*** "

Did you look at this? Maybe something in the answer would help.
