I'll be in the market for a laptop soon enough, though, so I may just bide my time. I don't like Vista, and my desktop is perfectly good, so I'm willing to be patient for rewards.

Are you kidding, I just heard that a majority of companies are possibly going to wait until windows 8? No thanks I idnt get caught up in vista and i wont fall for this trick to get me to spend more money on something i dont need. XP FTW!!! O.o

I can't get Windows 7 on my laptop. The current drivers from Toshiba which say are for Windows 7 don't function correctly. They disable the FN key.

Being an IT and have a computer networking background I tend not to rush into the newer operating systems. You never know what is wrong with them.

I am still using windows xp vista sucks litterally and Windows 7 was created to fix all the issues with windows xp and vista but were already having issues with that to. Time will tell though.

I usually only upgrade my OS when I upgrade my computer. I am due for a new computer in about a year so I will probably get it then. I am praying for less problems. Vista is still horrible till this day. I recently had a driver installation problem that has been in existence for 2 years but no one has thought to patch it.
