My dad has, and im going to do the same (i get a student discount though, makes it way cheap :P )
Some people are telling me not to, due to the fact it might be vunerable to security exploits, but tbh - xp and vista are more at risk of getting viruses and hacked into at the moment : /
Only thing is i'd have to do a clean install, and i hate having to backup files D:

The boot time is way faster, like seriously. And well, it seems about time for me to do a fresh reformat of my pc, so a new os seems appropriate..

Most include a CD key.
And, there's not much you can do with an installing OS so, most are clean. | |
