Help with downloading IN windows 98? I'm using a cross between Windows 98 and Windows 98 SE (upgraded earlier today, only the programs, still boots saying Windows 98)
I was able to install a driver for my USB flash drive perfectly fine.
However, every time I try and download any kind of file, be it a .txt document or a .zip, I get a popping 'download' window that will disappear and come back roughly every 1.5 seconds. Nothing on the download window is there. I have the grey background, blue title bar, outline of the cancel button, but nothing is there. The only way for me to cancel it is if I Ctrl+Alt+Del it at EXACTLY the moment it is on my screen, which takes a few tries.
I tried googling the problem, but all I get are downloads for pop-up blockers, no matter what phrases I use/leave out.
