i mean not like just from a video camera, but software for the ps3 check out you and look up exooutsider on youtube his videos were made frm some sort of software

Yeah there's really no specialized software needed. Here's one thing to use, depending on what you have for outputs you're using on the PS3:

USB 2.0 Video Grabber Audio and Video Capture Device USB to S Video or RCA Composite and 3.5MM Mini Stereo (1/8") and Dual RCA Audio Inputs (DVD/VCD Maker)

Imports via that same as from a video camera.
