well i was messing with my computer the other day and i kinda broke it but it still works fine i clicked something and then i did somethin so fast i dont remember or even kno wat i did and now all the names of my icons on the desktop are gray outline does anyone kno how to fix this?

How about you take a screenshot so we can know exactly what happened.

use system restore, if you have a windows operating system, thats what i always do to fix my problems
