GPoints: 1,264 Rep Power: 2 | Proxy Ok, so I added "Foxyproxy" for Mozilla. I plan on using it to help protect me if I am to download warez etc. I don't entirely get how to use it. If I am to add a new proxy, do I simply put an IP address, or something else...
A quick explaination of the most important things I should do would be greatly appreciated.

GPoints: 1,906 Rep Power: 2 | i dont use proxies, but i used to. most of the time i just had to put in the IP of a site that allowed me to proxy(google proxy list for a list of a ton of IPs) ,told my proxy to route through that.
and you know firefox has a built in proxy setting. i think its under the options tab in settings. if your gonna use addons for a proxy i suggest "tor"

GPoints: 1,264 Rep Power: 2 | FoxyProxy was the most popular on the add-on's page. It confuses me becasue it asks for the Proxy Name and I put in an IP address and click ok and it says "Host name and port must be specified." I don't really get that.
As far as a built in Proxy, I can't find that...

GPoints: 1,906 Rep Power: 2 | try putting the IP in IP: port format (unless it has a seperate box for the port number). ex: 91.194.85.79:8080 with 8080 being the port. if their is a separate port box put the port in their instead of at the end of the IP. and im pretty sure for hostname you just put the hostname. ex: google.com
and for the built in proxy go to tools on your menu at the top of firefox. then click the options button. then go under the advanced tab. then under the network tab. the first button you see that says "settings" is the setup for the built in proxy in firefox.
i havnt used a proxy for a long time, so if im wrong can someone please correct me.
