Any way to increase upload speed? Because my internet upload is absolute garbage right now, I just did the speed test on dslreports.com and got like 55Kb/s. My download is 1103Kb/s. I'm getting irritated because it took me almost 4 tries just to upload a .png image. Any help is appreciated.

Edit: I just saw this as well, any way to get around it? : Warning: ISP upload compression was detected. Your upload speeds may be inaccurate.

If you're on XP I would suggest using this tool:
http://www.speedguide.net/files/TCPOptimizer.exe
After opening it choose a option that is "Optimized" or something along those lines..

As for the error I read around and concluded this when speed testing:
- Try different regions, your ISP might not like certain IP Locations
- Dont use a accelerator
- Dont have a Torrent app open

It tries to detect compression of compressible data by measuring upload on a file of blanks then a file of less compressible data and looks at the difference. If there is one, the message is displayed. It may trigger for some connections that do not employ compression. The only ones I know of are some mobile networks and satellite broadband.

It is quite possible that the current version is too sensitive during that test, and will display the message if the route to the server is not quite perfect. Other possibilities could include that your latency is quite variable, or your PC is underpowered (less than 1ghz) or your flash plug-in is getting destablized by other programs running at the same time or the test server itself is congested for some reason - things like that.

You could just generally be in an area with bad internet connection.
Possibly a slow computer aswell.

Like what sirhiro said, that program is GREAT. My dad got mad because I was hogging the internet and his comp would go slow on the net and he has 4GB memory. LMFAO it works great trust me!
