Because my dad couldn't be bothered paying for software, and before I found out about cracking and serials and such, I use AVG free. xD It's worked well enough for me for about 3 years now, so I'm not bothered to change. In conjunction with AVG, I use ZoneAlarm firewall as well as Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware and SpywareBlaster.

I would use Avast! Anti Virus Home Edition. It's free and convenient. I trust it with my computer's life

Norton is crap.
Nod32 has been the best one I've had so far.

Have used a large number of anti virus software:

Norton - Avoid =X
Kaspersky - Is ok
Mcafee - Not bad, but slows down my comp
Bullguard - Bull"shit"
AVG - Exactly what the abbreviation stands for
Panda - not great
Nod32 - Best i've used, keeps me out of trouble, good rate of detection

I think I've tried all the well-known antivirus. Right now I just used spybot S&D, but I guess I should reinstall Nod32.
