I said its a resource hog. I'm not too sure about newer Norton's but the older ones had way to many false positives, it wasn't user-friendly (for example it would block ports that other programs require and it wasn't clear or easy to resolve this), it wasnt compatible with lots of other security software and it would by default make a lot of choices
for you and if you were computer illerate you wouldn't be able to figure out how to change it (back to the user-unfriendliness). AVG is alright if you want a free one, but most people here would rather pirate a copy of Kaspersky, Nod32, Bitdefender etc.
