Why Mene?

Mm-hm. Just as the title says, I've often wondered, out of all of the Gaia-like avatar sites, why does GG mostly focus on Mene? Do people here have some sort of a grudge against Mene or something? Because, just to name a few, Zantarni, Varus Online, and Eternal Nox are also alright, but it seems that Mene's the main focus round here. Could anyone enlighten me?
