Requesting - Timer Program

Hiya guys !

I have looked around.. and cannot really find a simple clock/timer program that I like.

All I want is for a sound, or message that would appear above any other screens I have up, to go off every xxx seconds.
And for it to be repeatable until set otherwise.

I did manage to find a few like this, but they were for $$$.
And right now I am stripped for cash.

It doesn't need to be all fancy looking.
Or anything like that.
Just.. BOOM. Repeatable Timer.
Preferably with a sound to alert me.

How hard would this be ?

Would it be possible to maybe play my own sounds for it ?
Seeing as I can run a few at a different time, the sounds might get mixed up. Heheh.

It is possible but what type of files do you want to play? Are .wav ok?
