Christ-mas Time? [Poem]

Bags zip through the air,
The sound of paper crunch,
The slap of a bow,
Is this what xmas is?

Excuse my rant and pardon the time,
But I really want to point out this idea o' mine,
Isn't xmas, no, Christmas a jolly ol' time,
Filled with laughing, n' that merry Christmas chime.

This bussle and tussle,
There isn't a need to show off the muscle,
Cry loud for peace of Earth and good will to all,
For isn't that the true time's call?

Forget presents, and reindeer, and dear loving Santa,
Once again I plead for ears at my banter,
Lift up and call for a new look this time,
And forget ol', "What's mine is mine".

Share peace, and love, and tendered heart,
Forget that cold, steel and metal cart,
Spend time with the family and friends,
If you have none of those, party like it never ends.

ENJOY THE TIME YOU HAVE TODAY,
FOR CHRISTMAS WILL COME AND GO AWAY,
And may all enjoy the company you share,
For life's not worth living, if we don't bare.

The first stanza isn't really part of the flow of the poem. It's there to start it off, and show it as a true rant like poem. It's the topic and the rest is the subject, so please treat it as such.

Remember, this is a rant poem, meaning it will have flow if you read a loud. Imagine someone on a soapbox giving his soul.

I do like it, though even aloud the line "If you have none of these, party like it neverends" just doesn't fit.

Just curious, but what about it doesn't make it fit? I only ask so I can learn from it.

Um, for one, the length of the line, but also the sound and overall tone of it. It just clashes.

The length I can see. I can't hear the clash though, but then that might be due to me being the author. I'll keep an eye out on those kinds of things.
