I'm in Study Hall at school right now, and I just came up with loads of random poems to pass the time. Some are serious, and most are stupid.

These are all Half-assed, and done in 5 minutes, so don't expect anything spectacular

Love was with a fishy
he died, cried and then he flied

DEAD MONKEYS
monkeys suck
I hate them so
I want to kill them
They like bananas

Feet are delicious
Feet are good
Taste the toes of a hobo
Then throw up and not like feet
BREAKFAST
Pancakes are round
Waffles are square
I think breakfast is gay

THE MAN
A man walks down the street
He sees something in the corner of his eye
He starts to run, and then he's done
The poor man's about to die
THE BOX
They opened the box, the tension grows clear
They lift the cap a tad, and then spreads the fear
The dismal thing comes out of the box
They rid the cat of this miserable world
From suffering in the no-holes box
MRS. HIGGINS
A teacher runs the class
Word goes out she loves the laughs
A student clears his throat, then before he gloats
Mrs. Higgins has the last Laugh
THE JOKER
A fool in the village streets
He dances and praises with little to eat
He's got nothing to do, so before he's through
He helps himself to the king's feast. | 
otherwise, your "serious poems" are pretty interesting in the fact they are a play on words and forms of words, which can lead to almost a trick ending. I would suggest lengthening them, and adding more generalizations, and maybe even longer story lines.
