POTW #7 Winner

Many of this week's entries were quite good. It was very hard for me to decide between three of the entries.

With the help of another judge we decided that the winner of this POTW is Bunneh!

Here is his poem:

Soliloquy of an Ant in a Storm

Every rainfall comet a cascade
Pounding velvet tremors through the ground
Shaking the trodden path followed
By the teeming, singular multitude of me

Through countless crystalline eyes
I see each lightning strike as nature's fury
St. Elmo's Fire blazing through the sky
In time with the teeming, singular multitude of me

And on I march, to the metronome
We want, we need, we hunger, we lust
The echo consumes the last iota of individuality
Drowning through the teeming, singular multitude of me

I scale the monoliths of countless rivals
Spurned by the Gregorian chant of us and Her
Through the shapeless, wrathful nighttime candor
Of the teeming, singular multitude of me

No need for purpose or passion my own
Nor private thoughts of sun-kissed days
Sifting through the sands of bygone beaches
Only the teeming, singular multitude of me

The hive-mind beacons flaring in my head
To leaves a scant reminder for the unknown
We came, we existed, we without purpose
But to serve the teeming, singular multitude of me

As I said before this was a really close one so don't be disapointed if you didn't win this time.
