I read the short passage that was in Edward's perspective probably 2 years ago. It wasn't completed yet but hey:

June 2008 Update: In response to the outrageous number of emails that I have received with questions concerning Midnight Sun, I talked to Stephenie this weekend and she asked me to let everyone know that Midnight Sun is her next project. She has not yet finished writing it (and there is no timeline set up, so we all need to put a lot of effort into being patient for a while longer), but she is definitely still planning on having it published. And, after Breaking Dawn comes out, Stephenie will have much more time to focus on writing Midnight Sun.

It looks like we'll get to read the whole version soon. =D

Melony could still see the two little holes from that dreaded vampire bite.
As the moonlight started to shine, she felt her canines get sharper.
Luscious blood was all she could think about.
Every night, this is what she becomes, this is what she is.
Drooping her victim's neck to the side, she bit in with a smooth squish.
Initially, she bite other places on this body. Something about the blood made her crave more of it.
Cleaning the bodies moisture, she felt solitary.
The feeling was nothing she felt before, even though it was how she always was.
It has filled her mind with the thought of over-powering this curse.
Obviously nothing could cure her. Not even a simple kiss from her true love, like all the other stories.
Notoriously, she prowled for more buckets of blood.

That was really good! I like how you wrote it more as a story than as a 'poem.' It was easier to get into. *loves vampires*
