[Writer's Overseer] Sidespin's Application

I've decided to apply to be the new Overseer of the Haven. I know that if I am chosen I will do a good job in increasing the activity of the section through new contests (Yes more contests ) and activities. I would also pick up where Bunneh left off with the Writer's team. It would be really great to use the writer's team as GG advertisers and I'm thinking about ideas for how that would work. I was also thinking about holding writer's team only contests and events to encourage more people to apply to be on the team.

If I were chosen, my newfound powers in The Haven would be of great use to me so I would be able to "sticky" and "unsticky" my various contests (something that Bunneh was always forced to do for me xD). This would also enable me to be able to delete spam posts in the entry topics or move them to my discussion threads.

I would also like to really start up the Haven Award by posting a thread where users would be able to nominate others who they think are worthy of winning this award. I think this will prove more effective than having users pm nominations because... well it will be right in front of them so they will be able to remember to nominate someone xD.

Overall, I think that I'm a good candidate for the position and I will definitely be trying to increase the popularity of the Haven at all times. I know all the rules and I've never gotten an infraction since I've joined. If selected any Haven naredowells better watch out!
