I play Counter-strike since 1999. I've 20 years old and I was in several clans, and spent much time by playing and helping. I got a steam account in 2003 and I'm still using her. I've Been informer/helper in various forums and I was always present to assist anyone.
Here some basic rules you SHOULD NOT TRUST IN SOME TEMPTING programs or websites:
- Never install Malicious Programs (Cheats, Bunny Hopping ability, Screen Shot Funcionality) in your computer. Will slow down your FPS (Frames Per Second) and you steam account can be alerted by VAC and be banned forever.
- Do Not Purchase Steam Accounts On Ebay. Why? Because they are either hijacked Steam Accounts or opened with stolen credit cards, The accounts will be closed and It is against the EULA to sell Steam Accounts.
- Never give your Steam account name/password to your friends (If the account is being used by 2+ peoples at the same time, the account will be frozen, for those you are they called by "Valve Employees Impersonated" using Instant Message programs on Steam, to fake website's clans. This is an example:

How to put the Counter-strike faster on your laptop/computer? I use the following config:
On the console- fps_max. The fps_max is "72", it says. Change to "100".
On options/advance- Worst looking, faster. Radar type Solid. Automatically catch an better weapon.
On video- 1280x800 (it depends what resolution you use on your operative system). OPEN GL. 32 BITS
On keyboard- I got the jump on the Mouse MWHEELUP (it's better for me).
Some basic commands:
cl_weather "0"- stop the rain in de_aztec, only
room_type "0"- stop the Echo on the map "de_piranesi", I guess, can't remember xD.
hud_fastswitch "3"- you can change quick to your weapons
cl_dynamiccrosshair "0"- turn your crosshair smaller
net_graph "3"- show your FPS's Status
net_graphos "1, 2 or 3" put your FPS's status on the center, left or right corner of your screen
cl_crosshair_color "000 000 000"- change your crosshair color
cl_con_color "000 000 00"- change the text color
sensitivity "the number you prefered"- change the sensitivity of your mouse (If you are using an LOGITECH MX500 like me, you can download a program which automatically update the sensitivity and upgrade your mouse to use the others buttons. "Logitech MX500 Optical Mouse Driver"
bind "keyboard letter" say "the text you want"- It's the fastest way to say something you want repeated. To delete, you write: bind "keyboard letter you choose" say "".
