I started my own server and I don't get what to do.
To get vent for the server, where do I get it?
Is vent something I purchase with the server? | |

If you try to make it on your own it will most likely not work because my brother and I have tried it before.
1. You have to buy one, most likely.
2. Ventrilo usually comes with servers, I believe.
And there are server-side files. | |

GPoints: 9 Rep Power: 5 | Yup. Ventrilo costs money to be hosted. A 10 man server (10 people can connect at a time) costs about 8 bucks a month, so good luck. You can use teamspeak or xfire for a voice chat program since they're free, but the codecs suck, so the voice quality is horrible. Ventrilo is the way to go.

I've been in a lot of clans that some use TS and some use Vent but Ventrilo is definately better. | |
