The Shadow Children Series.

Yeah, this series is for like 5th or 6th grade. That's when I read it. *shifty*

Anyways, If you HAVEN'T read these books, they all start with "Among The xxxx".

They are all by Margaret Peterson Haddix.

It's about illegal third children. And, they are killed by the population police, if they are identified as illegal. Yeah, it sounds cheesy. But it's one hell of a series.

My definite favorite is the last book, "Among the Free".

I checked the book out at the library. And I want to buy it. xD

I have "Among the Enemy". Which, I've read about 3 times.

I want to buy the whole series.

Anyone else read these?

You could probably read it, in less than a day. They are like 150 pages long. =/ I'm a slow reader + my """"life"""". It takes me about 2 days. xD

Well, when I actually have the time (say, 3 free hours) then I can get through about 300 - 400 pages. It really all depends.

And, it's okay to read slow. Because I read fast, I tend to need to re-read them at a later date. XD cuz I'll miss things, or, go by them so quickly and then forget, or meld them into something else.
