GPoints: 9,880 Rep Power: 11 | my best friend kenneth is in love with the book, that says something to me, considering he doesn't like reading, he fits the "black teenage male" stereotype, and doesn't like fictitious books much. he said he was fascinated with the romance portion of it, and he wishes he had a love like that...

But fads go in and out these days somebody has to make money in a ridiculous way. XD Even if it is a roddy book.

I love the series, and the film (although not as much). I read the books before the film was even announced, although I read recently that the film rights had been bought before the book was even finished. O___O

GPoints: 3,247 Rep Power: 28 | I couldn't even start reading the book.
It was uninteresting as fuck.
I might watch the movie, some day.
But yeah.. my mom always read stuff like Anne Rice and watched movies like Bram Stokers or whatever. So that kinda rubbed off.

GPoints: 596 Rep Power: 0 | The book/series was good, and I enjoyed it.
It read the entire series, before everyone was all TJIGKHMR,GFVPODRYHUJKMGF, about it. xD
The writer changed vampires, instead of the original 'burn in the sunlight, garlic, wooden stake' stuff. :]
And there isn't anything wrong with that.
And the movies REALLY suck :/

They're pleasure reading. It's a good story, I would never be driven to write a thought provoking essay but it is a good read nonetheless.
I just think that girls can relate to Twilight more, hormones aside. I know the book has been a good escape for many girls.

I HATED the twilight movie. I mean, the books weren't all that great either (I stopped half way into the first one -_-), but the movie ruined it for me. I may be bias, though, as I prefer the old-type vampires.
