Story (9/10):
The game starts out with our four survivors:Louis, Zoey, Francis, and Bill. Survivors of what? You may be asking. Survivors of a zombie apocalypse. These four survivors have a special gift; they are immune to the infection that causes people to become zombies. In this game you can control any of those characters listed above. Your goal in each level is to ge to safe house where no zombies can and enter. Also the way too finish each campaign is by 'escaping' which you will discover by playing the game. The campaign consists of four levels: No Mercy, Death Toll, Dead Air, and Blood Harvest. There are four difficulties you can choose from: Easy, Normal, Advanced and Expert. There are the normal infected which are the 'normal' {if thats what you can call it} zombies and special infected which consists of:
Hunters

Boomers

Witches

Smokers

and
Tanks

Survivors

Left To Right Francis, Bill, Zoey, and Lois.
The game is played like a movie. At the beginning of each level it will say a characters name and played by {insert your gamertag here}. Which I thought was pretty cool because games aren't usually like movies. Also at the end of each level it will say if you died: In memory of {insert gamertag here} and list who survived and what I thought was espicially cool was that it will say Zombies who were harmed in the making of this movie:{insert number here}. I would have given the storyline a 10/10 but it was lacking a backround story. Even though it was self explanatory it would have been great if they included how the zombie outbreak occured and why these four survivors were immune to it.
Controls (10/10):
The usual first person controls.
Graphics (9/10):Even if graphics doesn't necessarily mean if it's realistic or not, I have to see the graphics are quite realistic. The game play fits the graphics really well. The graphics are very clear and everything is very well drawn and designed.
Sound/Music (8/10): There wasn't much music except for the ending which I did like but the sound was amazing. The sounds the zombies made sounded soooo realistic that you would probably think that that was what they would sound like if they were real. I particularly enjoyed how realistic the screaming of the survivors were when they were being ripped open by a hunter.
Replayability (7/10): The replayability in this game is alright, nothing to brag about. You can choose from 4 difficulties to choose from which consists of:Easy, Normal, Advanced, and Expert. You can either replay the game as Bill, Francis, Louis or Zoey but whoever you pick really doesn't matter.
Online/Multiplayer (10/10): There are so many Online Multiplayer games you can play. You can play Survivor which is playing online with friends or random people and trying to see how much time you can survive without dying. You can play the campaign on co op. There is also something called versus where one team of players will be the infected and try and kill the survivors before the get to the safe house and another team consists of the survivors who try and kill the infected and get the safe house.
Game-play (8/10): The type of shooter L4D is is a 1st person shooter. You have a variety of guns to choose from which are a shotgun, a hunting rifle w/ scope, a sub machine gun, and one or two pistols depending on what you want are available. You can also carry a Molotov or a pipe bomb. You shoot, throw the Molotov or pipe bombs, knock away zombies with your gun, and heal people with health packs or give them pills.
Overall Score (8.7/10): You should definitely buy this game. It is pure pwnage. I love playing this game and I'm sure you will too. Despite the lack of music throughout the game everything else makes up for it.
