Ready to dive into the legend of King Arthur in a way you never have before? Well if you have a closed mind about Sonic you sure won't be.
Storyline:King Arthur has gone corrupt, and Merlina the daughter of Merlin summons a knight to save the kingdom, to everyone's surprise Sonic came flying out of her portal landing face first on the ground. The storyline seems like it is going to be a quest to defeat King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table (Shadow, Knuckles, and Blaze)...but then there is a massive twist in the story that I won't get into but it was pretty surprising. So while the beginning may seem generic, it has humor to carry it along until the twist in the plot. Some scenes literally made me laugh out loud, overall they were very well done. The final boss is the first of it's kind in any Sonic game as well. (9/10)
Graphics: Now if it is anything Sonic "fans" should agree on, it should be that the recent Sonic games really do look beautiful in the graphics department. For a Wii game, the environments are highly detailed and it is probably one of the best games graphically on Wii. (10/10) Couldn't be better.
Sound: The Sonic Team has really reached out to the fans when it comes to the music of this game. Crush 40 is back, and some songs that were a hit are back in the game. Now don't go thinking all of the music is just rehash. The game features it's own music that fits the Arthurian setting perfectly. Overall it's just very well done with the new and old. (10/10)
-Not really a video, more of just to listen to the main song of the game.
Controls: Things can get a bit muddy when it comes to the controls for some people. Motion controls always have mixed opinions, therefor I can not do anything more than express mine. This aspect really could vary. I guess I should first start off by saying that despite what some major reviewers claim, this game is not 100% on-rails like Sonic and the Secret Rings. It is the same idea, but a hybrid mix of the sort. You no longer automatically run forward, you have full control of your movement forward/back/left/right with the nun-chuck. You swing your sword by giving the Wii-Remote a shake, and can even do some other sword moves determined by which direction you are pressing in when you shake the Wii-Remote. The game isn't always clear on how to perform an action, so this could really throw some people off. Overall they are still pretty good. (7/10)
Gameplay: To be honest, most people just see Sonic has a sword and instantly head to the garbage bin with the game. Little do they know that the game blends sword and speed quite well depending on how you want to play. You may seem to be sluggish at first, but once you get the hang of it you'll be cruisin' through levels at blinding speeds in no time. Enemies appear to stop your progress, but with the right swordplay you can slice through every one of them without even stopping your sprint. What if you don't want to use the sword you say? Simply jump over them and be on your way. Another (Despite what people say moment) is the fact that homing attack IS in this game, and it works just like it used to. There is a new ability called "Soul Surge" which you can either use as a boost, or a neat focused attack to slice through each and every enemy in your way.
Some people consider the game short as the main story is about 5-6 hours long. If you are the type of person to just play through the story and then get rid of a game, avoid this game. Now for the rest of us that like to go through more than just that, there are tons of extra missions waiting to be played. Tired of playing as Sonic? Well why not pick of the Knights of the Round Table to play as? That's right! Shadow, Knuckles, and Blaze are all playable! Sadly they are not playable in every single stage, but with the ability to forge weapons for them, the good number of stages you can use them in is very enjoyable.
Want to take a break from the extra missions? Well then you should head over to the Wifi-Leaderboard Levels to see where you rank.
To add onto the list of things to do, there are many items to collect which are used to forge weapons. You can level up your "style" by doing well in stages and gaining followers. (Think Sonic Secret Rings, but without purposely starting you out clunky and terrible.) In fact, there are probably TOO many things to do in this game! Gameplay:(8/10) Replayability:(10/10)
-It really is hard to find a video that contains no spoilers, but even though this is the beginning of the game/training stages I'm still putting up a spoiler warning.
Conclusion: Don't like any change to your Sonic? Don't get this game. Accepting to changes in Sonic games, and would love to put more effort into the game than the storymode? Get it! Not really sure, or just want to play the story...give it a rent and try it out. It really is a fun spin-off Sonic game, despite the hatred it so often gets.
Paladin is all out attack that's why. It is the slowest style in terms of running and moving...although like it suggests attacking is pretty fast and great.

Depends on what levels you are doing, but for me personally I always use Cavalier. You run so much faster with it. (You'll instantly notice the difference.)
