Made it on Photoshop Mac (old torrent from a while back)

It doesn't matter what colours, just try to pick a couple colours that will blend together and look better together.
There's like nine different colours,
and none of them are... Going well with each other.
Maybe since Yoshi is green and white and red, the whole siggy should be as well?

experimenting is key
another good tip is to read a bunch of tutorials

but yeah it is generally a good idea to use colors of your character

It's not very good in my opinion. You need to work on matching up the colors such as match it up with Yoshi on the side. Make it blend more and choose a different font that attracts people's eyes.
