I used to have one when I was 6. It was a dog I think. He kept dying because I'd never remember to feed him, how sad. (But that was obvious, since my real life fishes died of the same reason. I was so irresponsible, no wonder my mom didnt want to buy me a dog, he'd had died of hunger in 10 days) | |

the idea is still cute but there are more updated and modern "virtual pets" now that tamagotchi seems like a relic from the past, at least thats my opinion

Definitely, everything gets out of date.
Even cute little 15 dollar portable pets, what you can carry on your backpack and then get taken away from you at school... Along with gameboy colours.
Bah.
Everything used to be soo cool.
Does time have to go on? Do we have to get older?
