Rockband or Guitar Hero?

I'm a hardcore Guitar Hero and Rock Band player. I've played both GH5 and RB:Beatles. So out of experience of playing both already, GH5 is SO MUCH BETTER than Rock Bands Beatles. It has so many songs that are just too much fun to play on both guitar and drums. The Beatles are just too... old.. and unfun.. You're better off getting the modern day songs. And when it comes to the whole instruments ordeal, both GH and RB have the guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. So which ever game you get, you'll get the four instruments. As long as you buy the whole kit that is. I also personally like the GH guitar over RBs guitar. But which ever way you go, you should have fun, I just personally had more fun on GH5. cheers.

I'd go with Rock Band, just not the Beatles version. Prolly won't appeal to your cousins.

Guitar Hero to me is the way to go, even though they're pretty much the same thing. Rock Band's hardest song is simple to anyone who's mildly decent at the game. Whereas Guitar Hero's songs are challenging towards the end of the game, and will keep you striving to do better.

Just remember, they both have the same instruments. I wouldn't recommend the Rock Band: Beatles version though, unless your cousins are huge Beatles fans, lol.

Rock Band, its more interactive with multiple instruments and no you dont have to use all of the instruments.

Guitar hero started it all and seriously has better song options

I won't post each tracklist but RB and a Track selection that mostly
had older songs that the "older crowd" would love And a lot of indie tracks
that no one has really heard of unless you are a uber hardcore music fan..


Gutiar hero World Tour Evenly set out music from all walks but made sure to
add plenty of up to date tracks..Musically i give the upper hand to GH.

i prefer the guitar hero game over rockband for one purpose, the guitar hero guitar had better handling than the rockband one, particularly hows the buttons on the guitar are set up
