Help with Forgotten (Computer)Admin Password

Might be a little late, but what the hell.

You need to be more specific in your question. To help you any further basic information like what Operating System are you using? Do you have access to the computer via another user? XP would be the easiest to get into, Vista would be a little trickier, but possible.

There are many programs to create a new admin account on XP.
If you're on XP then create a new admin account and use that to change the password of the other admin account. Delete the new account and you're good to go.

theres a simpler way. u can use a bootkit cuz if u cahnge the password, maybe bad stuff will happen to ur encrypted files or something.

rite then, theres 2 utilities out there that can subvert the windows kernel and either log u in w/o a password or even open a cmd prompt with system privileges at the login screen. good luck. crack them ntlm hashes, ya?

actually it works in some linuxes too this one utility... pretty badass, but i dunno if itll get u system privileges.
