and because of this I have to basically rely on friends or cab it everywhere.
I was thinking about getting my g2, but I have had absolutely no road experience, so I have to get some of that... gah I have to get someone to teach me.
everyone says lately its not even worth it though, insurance is going to be like 400 a month, and gas about the same, not to mention leasing a cab or even a scrapper (again hard on the gas)
Discuss
do you guys think its worth it?
Anyone here drive?
anyone here own their own car?

In all honesty it doesn't really add up to that much. lol.
Unless you're driving a Lotus or Porsche 911 your insurance will not be that high, lol.
Also. I had never taken a single driving class or anything - I just went to the DMV and took their tests. It might have been because I've been driving since I was 12? (Went from Atlanta to FL when I was 14. lolol).

| 19, sports car, 140 a month? Are you a secondary driver or do you have the absolute minimum coverage OR is your car older than 15?
Anyhow, I have a g2 and insurance is horribly priced if your under 21. My dad pays 73 a month for his 2002 impala ls, and if I owned it, I would be paying about 350 a month. But, if your car is 15 years or older, you'll be paying a lot less. This is just for ontario, not sure about the states or other provinces.
