Well...the parents obviously, I'll go through their faults.

A. Leaving an 11 year old home alone, completely unattended
B.Leaving loaded firearms in the house.
C.He was to young to buy the firearm or the game, therefore the parents had to
D. Allowing him access to the rifle in question
E.Buying him the game, he had another 7 years to go before HE could legally buy it, there's a rating there for a reason.

Exactly. Normal parents don't leave accessible firearms in their house.

I think it's the kid's fault. Obviously, if he had practiced his 1337 Halo moves more, he wouldn't have shot himself in the face.

But in all seriousness, what's the point of placing blame? A kid shot himself because he was playing around with a gun. Next time around, tell kids not to play with guns rather than spending hours bitching and trying to blame someone for an accident.
