How come not many people admit to playing the clarinet? I play it too haha, only for 4 years. Technically, 2 years and then I didn't take music anymore but I still joined the school band.

Oh, it's also considered an "easy" instrument to play, and is often the first one (or one of the first) a musician learns.

And yes, Hodizzle, it's an easy instrument to begin with. But to become an instrumentalist to fit the calibur of your passion is never easy. Meaning: No instrument can ever be considered easy, it just depends on your passion for it.
For example, I worked my ass off to become one of the top 20 high school clarinetists in the state of Texas. It was hard, but my passion supplied the motivation.
The passion is what most musicians 'lack', nowadays.
Oh Goodness. This is not what I had intended at all. I don't want to cause a scene.
