I think anyone can overcome anything that happens no matter how awful, as long as they are really motivated. Thats where the problem comes I guess, because its hard to be motivated when youre so devastated. Either way, this is a terrible story and frankly, it almost makes you want to never help anyone again in case its someone YOU love. | |

Reminds me of this article I read awhile back, where a man was driving up a hill and couldn't see because of the sun and struck a pedestrian who happened to be his wife.
