I realized I’ve been rolling around in bed for hours in the past week/month before I actually fall asleep. I think this may be because I don’t have school at the moment. When I had school, I fall asleep pretty quickly since my mind knows that I need to rest in order to concentrate in school the next day.
Anyone diagnosed with insomnia? Sleeping pills?
How long does it take before you fall asleep?
What's your sleeping schedule like? | |

Join Date: May 2007 Location: 日本 Posts: 3,364 Rep Power: 14 | There are times when I swear my eyelids are stitched open and I can't sleep at all. I have sleeping pills ( some kind of benzo) but I heard they're habit forming so I don't use them much.
I hate it when I go to bed, get to sleep, then wake up at like, 3am and lie there for the next 2-3 hours D< | |

I used to go to bed at 9 pm, knowing that it will take me a long time to fall asleep, and the more I thought about it, the worse it got, so I'd actually fall asleep at around 5 am. That's 8 hours of lying on the bed doing nothing.
I realized I shouldn't stress out too much over it and stopped caring. Then the insomnia sort of stopped. But it still takes me about an hour to get to sleep. Much better than the 8 hours, at least. | |

I only have trouble falling asleep if I screw up my sleep cycle and stay up really late then try to go to bed early.

I used to have a really big problem with it when I was younger. It happened literally everyday. It's only recently become a problem again Dx
