This isn't Grand Theft Auto!

Yesterday I was getting ready to go to my moms house and I got into a cab with my boyfriend, I knew my mom was just on her way back from buying grocery's so we were going to try and beat her home.

when we got into the cab we saw her car go by in front so we yelled "follow that car!" and the cab driver started to laugh, he was like... "I have only ever hear about people saying that Im movies and I have been driving for over 30 years!"

we wanted to get her attention so I was like "just give her a little love tab with the cab" and he responded "What do you think this is??? grand theft auto!??"

I thought it was funny for this 70+ year old man even to know this reference, we had been playing gta for quite a bit over the past few days, my boyfriend had even said thing to me like could I steal a car and get away with it like in the game???

If they can tell the difference from games and real world, then yes, otherwise, no.

Nope

Gta4 is sex. Took a little getting used to the physics in that game compared to San Andreas. The first day I played it driving was pissing me off because the cars have horrible turning compared to the older games. Also the camera sort of pivoting when Niko turns pissed me off, but used to it now :P.

i hate the driving as well in GTA4; I can't get used to the controls they are completely different, but apparently you can set them back to the original controls.

Original controls? Same as San Andreas? Either way I'm already used to the new ones, I don't bother changing the controls on games, just messes me up lol. How far are you in the game?

I think we have then entire map unlocked, my boyfriend has been playing while Im at work so perhaps further.

yes the san andreas controls, but apparently with the new remotes the new controls are better.
what system do you have?

360. Only have 2 islands unlocked, something like 26.43% done. Im at the mission where Elizabeta sends you to an abandoned hospital to get crack, kill the gangsters then escape from the police. I've had this mission for a while but havn't done it, just killed Playboy X and now this is the only mission left lol.

yeah we are further along then you; We don't have Xbox though, we have ps3.

PS3 has better graphics, Less glitches.
XBox has headthroughwall-ish glitches, and framerate slows down in some parts of the game.
Also, Playstation always has the best controls for GTA.
