GPoints: 13,301 Rep Power: 13 | Journaling What's your standpoint on journals to keep your ideas, thoughts, and dreams or maybe just summarries of your day?
I personally enjoy journaling daily because it can be a way to relieve stress or calm anger or other emotions. The best thing about journally for me is that I can go through my journals entries from the past and they'll really make me think and experience the things I went through while I was writing in my head.
The biggest fall back of a journal in my opinion the fact that someone can find your journal and read your deepest thoughts that you might not want them seeing.

When I was 18 I had another one and filled it with random crap, poetry, prose, etc... now I just don't document anything. Most people don't need a journal seems they have at least one friend who takes photos of everything to put on facebook.

GPoints: 44,212 Rep Power: 100 | I have a tumblr with only a couple of followers so I'm pretty much free to write whatever's on my mind there. It's a good way for me to release my feelings because overall I'm not a very angry person and this gets rid of the occasional feeling of me wantng to punch someone in the face.

GPoints: 7,101 Rep Power: 3 | I have kept journals since I was about 12. I still have every single one, and I still journal daily... it's just a habit, and it makes me feel better to get everything out on paper. I'm so bad about it that I keep a mini notebook and pen in my purse just in case I feel like I need to write when I'm out somewhere, even if it's just a sentence.
Here's the thing though. I go to therapy (I'm Bipolar and have Panic Disorder), and when I told the therapist that I journal, she actually got upset and told me to burn them all ASAP! She said that the past is the past, and going back and reading about it, and re-living everything was not healthy. I still can't bring myself to burn them though... good or bad, those are my memories, ya know?
Sorry for the ramble... probably didn't make much sense, as it's 5:40am here and I haven't slept yet lol! XD

I don't journal anymore, however, because Project 365 has caught my attention. I'll be starting in January and am quite excited about it. (:
