And if you want to blame it on the government, won't you be blaming your beloved savior Obama?
Pff, general population conspiracies amuse me.

My grandparents are too easily persuaded by the media, and they're like freaking out, wash this wash that. Come on...
lyke fur srs, calm the FUCK down. [I had to emphasize fuck for a reason, that reason is unknown at the moment, but what the hell, I'll go with it.]

I actually get Seasonal Flu once or twice every flu season so I'm not worried.

And, it is the Media, I do agree.

GPoints: 5,342 Rep Power: 1 | They say it's really only something to worry about in the elderly and young children. I WAS in agreement with almost everyone on this thread about it just being media hype, until yesterday. My 4 year old daughter was just diagnosed, and she is not doing well at all. I had the choice of keeping her at home and monitoring her, or making her stay in the hospital. Considering she is scared to death of hospitals, she is here at home with me.
She can't sleep or eat, her fever is high one minute and too low the next, and she is in so much pain she can't stop crying :( They gave her meds, obviously, but if she doesn't improve in 24 hours I have to check her into the hospital. So yeah, now I think it's scary, when before I thought it was no big deal. :(
