Live with parents? Renting apartment? Own a house? Got Roommates? Homeless?
I'm in the process of buying my first house with my husband. Right now I live in a shitty apartment on the 3rd floor that's a complete bitch to keep cool, especially here in GA. It's just the two of us. We move out on the 10th, and hopefully close on our house by the 24th.

After I had over $2000 invested in the damn thing, housing kicks me out because I didn't pay my fall deposit so I had weeks to find a new place to live. I decided to sign up at an apartment near campus (the Grove) and am awaiting to move in on the 15th. I currently am visiting my parents in Louisiana. | |

GPoints: 3,659 Rep Power: 1 | My BF and I just moved last month into a nice apartment complex outside of my busy city. We live on the 2nd floor of a two story building, so no stompy feet above us. It's very nice, the neighbors are quiet and don't complain about much. The only thing that gets rather obnoxious is the trains going by. There are about 4 roads that cross the tracks nearby, so whenever a train comes through, they honk for a good 5 minutes. I've gotten used to it and sleep through it now, but the first night was rough. Only other obnoxious thing is that my workplace is 20 minutes away. =\
EDIT: For some reason, there are a lot of cop calls here though. It's so quaint and docile... It's been a month and we've had 6 different incidents of cops coming out to either our building, or the one next to us... o.O
