Okay so in school I'm in a web design class. This consists of learning a good amount of photoshop. So, in the winter we usually have these like art slideshow things and I wanna be in it. I wanna make some epic signatures.

Can any of you guys help me? I know the bare minimals, such as cropping and stuff. I wanna do some special effects. :3

Anyway....these are all just cropped...wondering if you guys could suggest some special effects to use?

Ignore the letters...Dunno anything cool to do with those.

just play around with all the different effects in the tool bars. Some good ones I like to use are the blur, colorize and blinds. You could also make some pretty decorative brushes.

I'm going to be very critical.
I don't think you should "show off" those pictures above.
You'll only get laughed at.
All I can see that you did was put some plain text on a picture, which a four year old could probably do.
I use to play around with photoshop a lot. The site I went to that helped me out a lot was ( Good-Tutorials - Newest Tutorials )
Play around and read some tutorials, you'll get great at photoshop within no time.
