Redemption?

Because my last tag was a disater, I tried my hand at another sprite tag. I used basically the same method as before.

I like this one a lot better. But however I wouldn't continue using the brush to where it adds texture to the picture.

i didn't use a brush. what part of the picture are you reffering to?

The stuff surrounding the pokemon.

oh thats all warped and distorted stuff using noise etc.

& your saying i souldn;t have done that?

Well...the stuff around the actual pokemon is not to my liking. The other stuff on the far right looks fine.

1. The sprite is looking off the tag, draws attention away
2. The colors are bad
3. The effects are bad

More stuff as well.
Sprites are hard to work with when you are first starting out.
I'd join Planetrenders and read some tutorials and look at psds if you want to continue doing graphics.

Your composition is really lacking. Looks more like a W.I.P. considering the lack of finishing touches such as lighting, coloring, and effects. I notice a lot of your sigs lack coloring you should work more on that and effects methinks. Your two biggest problems.
