Packet editing.Right area for this??

Hi,Can some one show me the format to use when uplaoding a packet into wpe pro.I have been trying and can't get it.I have collected a packet saved the packet as a ".spt" file edited it in notepad and tryed to uplaod it again in wpe pro but it crashes wpe pro.I tryed the same but with ".pac" file and same thing.I go to "create new packet" but wpe pro wont let me paste . thanks

Editing in notepad is a big no-no.
Type it back in wpe manually?

Yeah man, just type it into a notepad document, and then type it back into WPE.

But a question from me, is a hex editor a bad idea? :P
