Programming Forum Rules

Okay everyone! Its rule time! *claps*

THIS IS NOT THE TECHNOLOGY FORUM!
Please post news and media/political updates regarding any sort of technology in that forum.


First of all, the rules are as follows, including the general Gaming Gutter rules, located Here.

Rules for Programmers:

1) DO NOT POST MALICIOUS PROGRAMS.
Those of you who do will get an instant ban.

2) [For program submission threads] Please give a good description, a title (no, "My Program" wont work.), A list of features, a list of plans (if any), and a list of known bugs.
A good guide on how to use the program helps as well.

3) Please post in the appropriate board.
Helps keep things nice and clean

4) If you are a veteran programmer, do remember when you weren't as good, and help the new.
You might get some rep+

For non-programmers:

1) Do not ask for programs (unless on the program request board).

2) Please be polite and knowledgeable when asking for help or otherwise.

3) DO NOT SPAM. I know it is in the first set of rules, but it is just a reminder (big pet peeve of mine).

4) As stated by Tantrum, PLEASE USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION! It helps us greatly, and reduces your chances of getting infracted.
