i've read around, and i read k[ore]'s thread about languages and i just want another opinion. i want to learn some type of programing language (hopefully more) and i need to know what language i should start out with.
i was thinking either autoit or VB because i've heard that they're both easy to learn and useful. also i dont want to start with other languages like c++ because it's just too complicated.
so what are the pros and cons of autoit and VB? and which would be easier to learn, from tutorials and documentation. which would be better for a first language in the long run.
i'm also open to other suggestions

But VB sucks total nuts.
Go for AutoIt.

PHP is more useful, its faster then vb6 and autoit.
Depends what you want to make. I suggest PHP.
