Why won't programms work when I add a proxy to them?

I'm talking about some cheating programms that have proxy support.
I put the proxy's address in the proxy field but then the programm won't work at all. I don't put a proxy and it works.... can somebody help me with this? Thanks.

It means the proxies are old and expired and old. You need to find newer proxies, like form today.

And make sure you are putting the right port, aswell.

Possibly, but if she got them from UG they probably work, or they wouldn't be there :3
