Bypassing School/Work Blocks

My school is very strict with it's blocks. Using the IP doesn't work and almost all proxy sites are blocked. Because of all this I have set up my very own personal proxy server and have decided to share it with all those at gaming gutter.

To bypass any school or work internet blocks and possibly hide your IP for those worried about IP bans. (I still need to double check that) Use my personal proxy at http://starwind237.no-ip.info/ and just put the site in the Web Address box.

Please don't pass out this address to any nonmember of this forum. I don't mind if you use auto refreshers and such on it at night but please refrain from doing so during the day and any other peak ours. If the server starts getting bogged down I may have to take it down so respect it and enjoy.

If you school doesn't block proxy sites I would suggest trying a few others before mine. You can find a list of web proxies at http://www.webproxylist.net/sites_Results.php

I'm only keeping the server up on weekdays now.

The server is also running a dynamic IP address. I think I installed the dynamic IP software correctly but if it drops mid week it just means the IP changed and my DNS host didn't get the update. It should be back up by the next week with the correct software if that happens.

and I'm using no-ip.com as my DNS service if you want to try the same rig I have.

Well I have unlimited monthly bandwidth. It's just that the server is being run at home off my dsl connection so it can't haddle a lot of traffic all at once.

Eh, thats not good, lol. Your site will go up and down a lot then.

Well, I think I have more than 8GB since I got the special package that only a few people on my host got. So, yeah.
