1600% MF? Useless amount. Look at diminishing returns, MF ratio facts, etc. You can lower that MF by tons to heighten the ability of your sorc to make it more versitile.

I was always told to never go beyond the 500-700 range.
Apparently there's this "sweet" spot.

But I have noticed that when I stacked on a huge amount of MF I didn't get as many good drops.

Diminishing Returns. By the time LoD came out the amount of MF you can muster was monstrous, so after the first couple patches they incorporated diminishing returns. Which means, after you kill X amount of Unique Beasts (Anderial, Piddle, Meph) the percentage in which MF affects the percentage of drops LOWERS. I noticed this when I went over 500% mf, my sorc was usable for good MFing for about a month, of uhh 3 hour mfing 3-4 times a day (not rune MFING mind you)

After about 6 sorceress, 3 different types I realized that 320% was my favorite number. I got the most functionality out of it, I could MF ANY (ANY!) mob, rush, do runs, just about anything, (of course with a couple weapons on switch and highly expensive gear at this point) not to mention my merc was stacked.


Don't know what I'd consider my sweet spot this time around in V1.12 right?

Ehh... I made the sorc, ran her until I got some stuff I could trade for some druid gear, and now I'm sticking with him.
(Trying to get to 99/@ stay on the ladder)
The drops I'm getting in the Baal runs totally blow any of the MF runs so far.
Of course,
in this case,
I have to have my pickit settings uber low if I want to beat the other pickiters and bots.
(Which is why I get RD'd so much.)
