Hacking A Soda Machine

Alright, first off, I'm sorry if this has been done.

So, you're here because you want...HACK A SODA MACHINE!

Nope, this won't give you free soda or anything like that, but it's fun to confuse your friends!

Alright, the first step is to find the right type of soda machine! Usually these ones work:



Note the WHITE buttons.

Alright, you've got the right machine, now to actually get into it.

The buttons on the soda machine act as "numbers".
Hit the 4th one down, the 2nd one down, the 3rd one down, then finally the first. You should now be in the Debug menu, if you're not, try again.

Alright, what you can do here is view how much money the machine has made, the error report, and a bunch of other crap no one cares about.

To navigate, follow this:
4-Enter That Men
3-Down
2-Up
1-Takes you back to the regular screen.


Have fun with this. Personally I like to go to where it says Error and just leave it there, and watch people when they see it. Sometimes people kick the machines and other crap after they stick their money in!

That code does not work on every soda machine like that.

I have one at school and tried that code and it wont work.

This only works on older machines, not the newer ones. But fun none the less ;3

You can't do a whole lot with this when you get it because on the inside there's a panel, which sets the amount of things you can access using this, and that's with the older ones (I don't believe the newer versions even have. The most you can do is check the temperature inside the machine, the city where it was purchased, and the amount of money made per slot.

Try pressing the buttons in following order: 423112311, and then hold down the return button/switch/lever. Some soda machines cough up all of the change that it currently has, but of course, that only works on a number of machines.
