Battle Toads was a lot of fun back in the day. That and the side-scroller for Genesis with the robots where you can pull off the other robots' arms/heads/torsos/legs and upgrade on the fly. Granted, it was always a pain because in the first stage there was a gap so big that you needed the Pneumatic Legs to jump over it and only one enemy had said leg type... so if you were playing co-op, someone had to loose a life. Can't remember the name of the game, though...
