YES it is very addictive... but it is sooo much fun esspecially if you play with your friends and like you run in to them and run around them in circles when they are trying to do something. XDDDD

I was afraid of the same thing! I have seen to many people get addicted and do nothing else. I decided to play anyways and I do love the game but I am not addicted at all.. I just play when I have time, but I don't have to do it all the time! I am always in a group and I do Dungeons and im still not addicted. Its about self-control! If you got something to do then make sure you do it first then play! You'll be fine!

Firstly, its Aussie, it was on A Current Affair, and it was grossly over exaggerated.

Secondly, getting addicted depends on what type of person you are.

My brother plays it and my mom refuses to let him buy it =/
He can only play it when he goes to his friends house. So he's like a wannabe addict. lol
I think I would easily get addicted, even though I'm a girl I'm into that kind of stuff. I don't even want to start playing for that reason..I'm already addicted tto like 10 diff games ^_^"

i have an addictive personality so it's easy for me to get addicted to stuff. i'm pretty moderate with wow, so i don't think it's that bad. then again, i know people who play it every chance they can get, so i think it depends more on the person than on the game.

ok kinda wierd how he said max he played was one time 12 hours but sumhow its a 16h a day avg.? sum1's math is ****ed up. If we all watching the same video.

I know I'm an addictive personality, and I knew the horror stories about WoW when I went into it...but I kinda let myself get addicted to it because my life was in the toilet and I wasn't in a position to try and fix it so it was easier to just ignore it for $15 a month. Now that things are looking up again, though, I've managed to cut it down to a reasonable amount of time.
